Designing and building this lake home was such fun. The goal was to maximize gathering spaces while minimizing the budget. Our design team met that goal through a large open-concept kitchen, living and dining room with hug windows that pull the outside in. We added an efficient laundry area cleverly hidden with an antique barn door that has been in the family for generations, along with a main level primary bedroom and bathroom. The upper level has two bedrooms, a full bathroom and a bonus sleeping loft. The garage was specifically designed to house the owner’s boat with a second stall for additional lake storage. This property is full of unusual, yet beautiful design choices from concrete countertops to custom wood ceilings, all which reflect the personality of the owners and the area.
